Funny Story!!

So I was sick this morning (no big news there ) but the only thing I could think that I would want for lunch was chicken nuggets from McDonalds. I also wanted a side of pickles to put on top of the nuggets before dipping them (it was good, okay?? don't judge )

So my husband went to get some for me. It took him a little while to get back and I couldn't figure out why. When he got home, he kind of grumbled. I asked him if he had a hard time getting the side of pickles, as it was a kind of odd request. He said that he had to ask three different people for it, and none of them knew what he meant/what he wanted. Finally, he talked to one person and said "Look, my wife is pregnant. I cannot come home without pickles..." Then they finally understood and got it for him.

I just thought this would be funny to share. I also thought I would add how much I love that bear of mine.

That sounds SO GOOD! I just started craving pickles today! I know you hear about pregnant women craving them but this is real! I would LOVE some pickles! Where is my DH at?? lol!!

I asked my boyfriend if there was any way he could get a pizza and some gummy bears,
he said please tell me that youre going to eat that seperately I started crying and said please just go get them seperately Im not asking you to find a gummy bear pizza.

I'm glad you all enjoyed the story!! I am very happy that he doesn't question my odd requests at this point. And pickles have been a main component of my diet this week. I've always loved pickles, but the salty vinegary taste is one of the few I can handle right now with my morning sickness.

And, you know, gummy bears on pizza doesn't sound bad at all!

Aw, makes me wish I had some odd cravings. So far, nothing at all...
A friend of mine used to eat ham&jam sandwiches and smoked fish with chocolate (!) ice-cream when pregnant.

I wish I had odd cravings now too! haha. I've been LOVING Sour Patch Kids and my OH has been great about making sure we're always stocked.. even went out yesterday morning for me because I had run out.

My only "weird" craving for me was Friday, I wanted pizza SO bad.. and I'm lactose intolerant and have a very sensitive stomach when it comes to greasy things, and I haven't had a pizza in YEARS but I wants a cheese pizza more than anything, OH got it for me and I was in HEAVEN AND never got sick. it was great. haha.

At least your DH got it right. I sent my DH out for pineapple popsicles.... he came back with orange-pineapple ice cream and fudge bars! Cue me bursting into tears for 15 minutes! He just doesn't get it - he thinks that since it is all ice cream it should be the same!
