GD or no GD?! Grrrr

Well do I or don't I! I had my GD test at 30 weeks and it came back 7.7 the cut off is 7.8 so was told I prob would get it towards the end of pregnancy.

Last midwife appoint at 34 weeks I had glucose in urine so sent for another test was told this time if you have glucose in your urine you pretty much have it, so expected bloods to come back high. Nope - 5.6 got told I couldn't be more normal.

What one earth is my body playing at! lol. Have got midwife again tomorrow so will see if I have glucose again. But I just want to know!

Had you eaten anything sugary the day before or on the morning before you did your urine test? I don't have GD but if i have anything sugary the day/night before i do a urine test it always shows glucose, my midwife always seems concerned about it but i seen a consultant lastweek as my babys big and she said it's quite normal to have glucose sometimes

I don't remember having anything sugary! But then again baby brain! lol

I am exactly the same! My urine always shows glucose in whatever I eat, yet again I had my GTT on weds and no phone call so who knows!
