Gender reveal parties

Plus I can only handle so much pink if we find out it's a girl.

That's the reason I want to wait as long as possible to tell our family if we are having a girl or boy - I don't want him or her to have a wardrobe and sets of toys that are exclusively pink/purple or blue/green! In that case, a gender reveal at the baby shower would be fun

i'll totally be having a gender reveal party.

well, it'll be more of a "come celebrate our new baby" party with a gender reveal in it lol

i haven't decided what we will do yet.

maybe cupcakes with pink or blue frosting as filling. seems better than cutting a cake to me lol i can bite into my cupcake first obviously hahaha no i don't know yet.

as for me knowing first or not...i feel like the controlling part of me would need to know first because if the person doing the cupcakes gets it wrong i'd be so pissed off.
