Gender Scan Today and I'm...Nervous

I haven't seen my baby on scan since I was 7 1/2 weeks and the baby was measuring 8w2. I guess I'm just nervous to see a baby and not a blob anymore like my first scan. I'm praying that this baby is healthy and I see two arms, two legs, and perfectly shaped head and also "the goodies" so we'll find out what we're having.

This is really intense for me...is it just me or has anyone else felt like this?

I felt like that after as I hadnt really appreciated how much he would have grown from the blob i saw at six weeks. I think you will be pleasantly surprised though, its a reality check, but a pretty amazing one xxx

Oo your gonna be shocked at how huge your little one is now.. I had a scan at 8 weeks baby was a blob and then at 12 weeks it was a real baby!! Good luck!

What did you find out you are having?
Did you ladies know what you were having instinctively before you got there..
I really want a boy but I know that a healthy, full-term baby no matter the gender is a blessing.

I am going to be in such shock to see MY baby on screen...it's going to be surreal I know but I'm going to soak it up!

its weird from going from a blob, to baby shape to fully formed baby! lol . i loved it when i saw his feet on the ultrasound, and its strange to think that his little feet were in the blob i saw at 7 weeks .
btw i knew i was having a boy and it turned out i was right

Yeah baby opened legs straight away and I'm having a boy! Which i knew from the off mothers intuition is pretty accurate it seems

Well then maybe I'm having a boy b/c that is what I have thought since day 1 but everyone has been throwing me off saying "I think your having a girl."
Gosh it has really got me confused but hopefully my instinct is right.

My friend just had a baby on Sunday after TTC for a year and he is so beautiful. Everytime I hold a baby I know what a blessing they are..a true Miracle!

Question: Should I have a full/empty bladder or does that matter??

Good luck at your scan, baby is gonna look so big compared to your last scan! Hope s/he shows the goodies for you. Sliced apples gets my little boy moving if you want something to help get him active.

When I went in for gender scan at 15+6 they made me have a full bladder, it was torture! lol

I thought that may help the ultrasound tech see the baby better but wasn't sure!!

I cried lots of happy tears. Thank you , I had a feeling he was a little boy before they told me. I know what you mean this baby is our little blessing, as is all the others . Yes, they made me have a full bladder or full enough that I told them I would pee myself it it got any fuller. lol

i saw a blob at my first scan at 8 weeks and was amazed as it had a heartbeat, then at my 12 week scan i couldnt believe how much blob had grown you could see the baby but was like a small alien lol then my 5 month scan watching the baby move on the screen and it looked like a proper baby was amazing but the baby had its legs closed 2 weeks later i had a private gender scan and found out i was having a boy and got to see him 3d it was so good and he looks like his daddy its one of the most precious things in the world.
