So I had an ultra sound at 15 weeks and at that time it looked as if it was going to be a little boy.

My next appointment was at 19 weeks and this time it looked like a little girl. My Dr. said he thought he saw overies but didn't want to say for certain.

I read that at 15 weeks the females clit can be raised and resemble a penis and that it goes down by around week 18. So this is why I now believe it is a little girl. But I hate not knowing with at least a little bit of positivity.

I guess what I'm asking is if by the sound of this I should be planning pink or blue? & if maybe there is a special kind of doctor that can tell me with more positivity than my OB.

Its a tough one but personally I think you are having a girl and 15 week gender predictions can be wrong especially since the genitals are swollen and the baby could have been on a difficult angle. If the sonographer said it looks more like a girl at the 19 week scan then its more likely to be

Thank you so much It is driving me crazy that my Dr. wont be more helpful lol. But when we first found out I was pregnant I was certain I was having a girl all the way until we went to the 15 week appt. & saw it may be a boy but even then I had doubt in my mind. So now I'm nervous to get all excited about having a baby girl & being told something else on my next appt. Over all I want a happy, healthy baby..but I still really want to know now lol.
