General Practitioner or Gyno?

Hey ladies,

Do you guys use a general doctor or a gyno for your pg blood tests?
I didn't realize how much I didn't know until I got to this board. I'm kind of lost.

I have to go to a general doctor to have pg confirmed before I can go to ob, my husband is active duty military and that is the way the ob is set up

That is how it usually goes around here too. You make an appointment with your normal physician to confirm it. Then you would call the OB and make an appointment to be seen by them 8-10 ish weeks in.

Thank you! I'm one week past AF start but I have two BFN's....so off to the doc it is this afternoon.

I haven't been feeling great this week...cramping and dizzy. Hoping it's nothing bad.

When I get to that time I'll be testing at my general practitioner before getting referred out to the OB
