Get down baby!

Hello ladies,
I had my 36 week appt today and midwife says baby is still free. I'm also measuring 2 weeks behind. I've been advised to bounce on my birth ball LOTS.

Bit worried though - does this mean I'm going to be overdue?

my LO was free until i was 38 weeks and now im still on 4/5 engaged which i understand is only just engaged i asked my midwife if im going to be over and she said as its my second some of them dont engage until labour has acually started.

if its your first soz i cant help as i cant remember what happened lol

Nope doesnt mean anything hun, some women just dont engage till labour!

my baby didn't engage at all, never mind fully, till a couple of hours before he was born. I was also scared of going very overdue but went into labour naturally at 40+3 and he came the next afternoon.

Thanks ladies, that's good to hear. I've been bouncing for an hour now, baby is probably totally confused!

I'm 39 + 4 and the baby is still not engaged. I'm pretty sure I'll go late.
