Ohh dear.. sorry to have missed your post...I m glad Nyela is doing much better now..Childhood is all about this.. babies getting sick and parents going crazyI am 99% sure she got it at her soft play group as it is passed on by children TO children, through coughs, sneezes, salivary/fluid contact etc. I had a little mini rant about the soft play to OH - blasted the other mums a bit for being idiotic enough to take their sick kids out and infect others ... I was already feeling bad about it as LO has been pushed over/hit/hurt twice there now by older children whose mothers have just sat there and done nothing. OH of course had to be difficult about it and try to argue that she probably caught it off a shopping trolley, then told me to take my head out of my arse when I mentioned that my biology qualification means that I am more clued up on pathogen transmission than he is.
She's fine now and most of the blisters have dried up and fallen off.
I am a little shocked that the person you saw refused to look in depth at your son for you, but I guess in a way it's good that he was so sure and wanted to save you the money! Remember that these people see children with developmental problems every day and are intimately familiar with bodies that aren't working as they should, their movement patterns and feel. He obviously didn't see a single concerning thing, so if you can, take comfort from that. Or see a new physio and explain that you don't care about the money! I sent a very long and honest email to mine, and I think she just wanted to make me feel better lol.
Sorry for my long, moany posts; I just really hate OH right now.![]()

Its good to havea chat with the supervisor at the playgroup abt ur baby. Dont see anything wrong, but ur OH is funny ..hehe..biology graduation & pathogen transmission.. i know it makes sense, but ur OH ..hahaha
