I am 6 weeks pregnant... I told the doctor yesterday that I was abit concerned about the cramps I've been having. She said it wasn't normal as such, but not to worry unless the pain is localised to one side.
She then started saying that if I miscarry, it's just one of those things and it wouldn't be my fault.
I thought at the time that she was just filling me in as its my first pregnancy.

Now I'm starting to wonder if she was trying to warn me.

Today at work I noticed niggling pains, sometimes sharp, on my right side.

Now I'm absolutely terrified that its ectopic... What do I do?

Im sure you're fine, but maybe your doctor can give you an ultrasound for a peace of mind. Good luck :flower:

Some cramping is normal in early pregnancy. I wouldn't worry about it too much. Your uterus is growing and stretching and your ligaments are loosening up for when you give birth. If the pain becomes severe and there is bleeding then I would go to the hospital.

I had lots of niggling pain before I found out I was pregnant (I found out at 6 weeks) and I had a scan at 7 weeks 2 days and everything looked fine x
