Hi

I have a jungle theme nursery and we are on team yellow. I am now a bit worried that this is going to be a bit male.

We have the mural below

https://www.redletterstudio.net/safari.php

and we are looking at either the covers

https://www.mothercare.com/Motherca...ng=UTF8&m=A2LBKNDJ2KZUGQ&n=310868031&mcb=core

In your opinion what one is more neutral or less male? Or should we go more plain for the covers?

Please help

Thanks

i went with yellow and white bedding when ds was born got it at a bargin from Matalan as well i wasnt going to spend upwards of £15 for a pack of sheets when i could get them for £4 from Matalan

i like the mothercare one, i also like this

I like the toys r us one but either are very neutral! we've gone for Millie and Boris from M&P's as I got tons of stuff off ebay but I'm starting to worry now that it's a bit more girly than for a boy! Team yellow does have it's disadvantages!

Can you wait until baby arrives to decide which to get? After all, if you order online and have it delivered you don't have to go to the shop? They can sleep in moses basket with neutral bedding until you decide?

You are doing the same theme as me and hubs and we are on team yellow. But we want to make our child like animals lol.

I think they're both very neutral!! I think it would be lovely for a girl or a boy and I really LOVE your choices. I would go for the Toys R Us over the Mothercare, but that's more of a personal pick, both are very gender-neutral and quite lovely.

We too have gone for a safari theme. We didnt want to pay alot for bedding and when we came across the safari bedding in argos

https://www.argos.co.uk/static/Prod...&jspStoreDir=argos&referrer=COJUN&cmpid=COJUN

we were a bit weary when we purchased it becausse we thought it would be really cheap for the price but its gowjus!! defo reccomend. Bargain too the quilt is £16.99 and the bumper is to £16.99 or you can get the two for £20 if purchased together. You can also get an uplighter, material canvas's and also boarder wallpaper is the same matching pattern from ebay.

Hope this helps xx

I'm on team pink and we have Babies R Us Jungle Chums set.

We're on team yellow and have gone with a bee theme. My hubby keeps teasing me that we're in real trouble if the poor little baby turns out to be allergic to bees as he/she will think they're friends! :dohh:

Perhaps I should have fallen your example and gone with animals!

We have a jungle theme and bought a set from asda which is fairly nuetral.

We have been looking for a murual or canvas for the wall for ages. How much is your artwork and how big is it? Thanks!!!!

I LOVE the toys r us set, it's beautiful :)

We're on team yellow and I'd def choose the Toys r us set over the mothercare x

We've been told 'think it's a girl' at both our scans but what with my OH coming from a family of all (and many) boys we are still not convinced so sticking neutral. Very controversially we have not done the nursery yet (I am 36 + 2) but am going to keep bubs in with us in a moses basket for the first few months at least. Am keeping eye on options and hoping they come up in the January sales!! Then I might be tempted... even if bubs isn't here yet!

Us too celesse ! Baby Girl is going in a jungle themed room with pale lemon walls, ive added wee hints of pink and aqua because my 9 year old daughter has to share with the baby x

My parents decorated the wall with a jungle theme wallpaper... they had a little girl and she loved it... and it wasn't pastel colours... I think the mural is really nice and quite neutral!

In early pregnancy we went round all the shops and loved a safari theme we saw in the glasgowpramcentre.

However I am very glad we didnt go for it - as looking back it is very boyish!! And now we know that we are having a little girl - we want her room more girly!

These jungle themes are still neutral tho - I prefer the Toysrus one.

I love the Jungle Chums bedding from Babies R Us....its the one I've got! I don't think its more boy than girl, or vice versa. I love it! I actually think the all blue/pink ones are a bit much...and prefer bright colours to beige/cream!

Its cute - get it!

We're on team yellow too and we've went for the zippy zebra theme. Never realized it had bits of blue on it till it all arrived so we painted the room White and put up red and orange animal stickers to try to take away the blue! Looks quite neutral now x x
