MaryLou,

not sure on how to represent it, as in

Mary Lou or Mary-Lou.

After one of my favorite Rock&Roll Songs by Ricky Nelson.

and the meaning of Marylou is "star of the sea".
also one other possible meanings in (Hebrew) "wished-for child"

I love all variations of Mary. I just think it is a classic and gorgeous name. I would go with Mary Lou.

I wont actually post the reason here.

although we don't know the sex of the baby, everytime I ask about have you thought of a name, the answer is no, but she has a baby name book. yet when I take the iniative its wrong.

in my tradition, the first born boy and first born girl, takes the mother/fathers name as a middle name. So she don'' like her first name and as a result she doesnt want a girl to have her first name as middle name.

So she dont like my suggestion either.

ohhh I can see this going downhill, is it going to be like this do you girls think?

it doesnt help that where both not even in the same country but still !

It is easy to find out girls baby names, the names you are suggesting Mary Lou or Mary-Lou is also nice names. If you want more names than you can search on Internet or in any books for more girls names.
