To be honest, I'm not personally crazy about it. But then, I'm also from the southern United States where the name Ida Mae is more common of an elderly southern lady. It's a lovely name-- it just wouldn't suit for me. That in NO way means that it isn't a lovely name for you. You should name your daughter whatever name you like best.

Annabelle does remind me of a cow now you mention it but I wouldn;t of thought of it unless you had said!

It's kinda an old lady name here too haha
But I'd never heard of it until I found it online and I'm hoping it'll be so old it's cool
