We're not TTC until after our wedding, but we've been swapping ideas for girl's names.. We really struggled with naming our son (Micah) and I want to be more prepared this time! Boys names I think we are on the same page but girls... Well, maybe you lovey ladies can suggest some that encompass both our tastes!

My favourites:

Wendy
Tabitha
Alice
Seren

OH's suggestions:

Heather
Misty
Roxy

Any suggestions?

Agree that Alice is an awesome name. We aren't having any A names unfortunately, otherwise it would be on my list!!

Love Alice, Tabitha and Seren. I'd say Seren goes best with Micah. Wendy reminds me of that bad chain restaurant in Canada so I can't get on board with it. Your OH's suggestions sound like the kind of name girls wanted to change their names to in the 90s , sorry!

Is Micah a Hebrew name? There are some lovely Hebrew girl's names. One of my favourites is Tove (said as tova) but obviously not for everyone as it's a bit out there!

Hey, Wendy's is delicious. :haha:

I like all of your names and none of your OH's, haha. My favourite would probably be Seren. Heather and Roxy are very 80s/early 90s and Misty, well... that's either a stripper's or a dog's name to me.

I LOVE your list. We've got Tabitha on our list as well as Esme, Georgia and Thea.

I'm not as keen on your OH's list. Heather is lovely and Roxy is ok but Misty, dare I say it, sounds a bit like a strippers name (I'm sorry - just giving my honest opinion :/)

Wendy to me links to Peter Pan which is what I love, I have heard of the burger place in American films but I don't think it's a common reference here. And yes I think Misty sounds like a stripper too! :dohh:

Alice is probably my favourite but I have a cousin named Alice. We have probably only seen her once or twice in 5 years but OH says it feels off limits? she's 24 as well so I really don't see the problem...

emy - yes Micah is a Hebrew name, but we're not religious. I quite like the idea of looking for Hebrew girls names though, thank you. Tove is lovely but my friend's dog is named Tove after the creator of the Moomins! (it's not at all a dog name, but Micah loves that dog and I think it would be confusing for him!) *off to google Hebrew girls names*

Oh I love Tabitha more now I know its meaning is 'like a gazelle'!

I also like Talia.

I just remembered we liked Annie when Micah was born, so that's back on the table.
