Not to be taken as a serious post just a bit of fun. What do you like about having a girl or boy or both. There are so many myths about personality, development between the sexes.

I have a wee boy, I love dressing him probably more than I'd enjoy dressing a girl. He is very laid back aswell but hates things like tummy time and getting his face washed! :)

my little boy was so laid back and placid but my little girl bloody hell i can tell she is going to be so strang minded allready and she is a little bugger lol

While I love my nieces and my step daughter (even though she hates me and the new baby for no good reason), I am very pleased I will not have to endure the drama of 13 year old girls.

My DS is definitley more laid back than my DD ever was! I notice also that he is waaaay more 'physical', much stronger, doing all the physical things earlier. I expect he'll be a later talker, my daughter doesn't stop talking ALL day long but was late with all the physical stuff!

Louis is full on, not laid back at all lol, never stops babbling and screeching and loves being held. He's not keen on tummy time but has to be busy playing and is very strong already. He loves having his face washed and legs massaged (girly lol), loves being naked but hates being dressed :haha::haha: x
Citygirl your cutie LO looks like he loves his baths, DS does too :flower:

I like having a boy because I didn't have to worry about anyone getting us anything pink.

I enjoy not having to clean poop out of all the little creases girls have, lol. And not having to remember to wipe front to back. Poop all over balls is gross, but not nearly as bad as with a girl I'd think.

I've heard boys can be more cuddly and mine sure is.

I do love all the girls clothes, baby legs(leg warmers) are so much cuter for girls, and the headbands etc, lol. Boys don't have much to accessorize.

I like having a boy because I didn't have to worry about anyone getting us anything pink.

My grandma made a mistake and sent Alex a pink sleepsuit, bless her! Lol

I love that my boy is attached to me but laid back enough to be held by other people as well :). I love that he's mine too :haha:

I love having a girl because the clothes are much cuter and girls were more familar to me as I have a very young sister. Im not sure Iwould have known what to do with a boy :haha: although I do hope next time around thats what we have :) my DD is very laid back, always happy seriously like never cries all of my friends with kids always say its so unfair cause I have the perfect baby. she can have her drama queen moments but for the most part shes pretty easy to please. As for diapers changes I much prefer changing a girl to changing my nephew but thats just me personally :)

I think boys are definately more laid back (I personally don't have a girl to compare but friends have girls). Although I've noticed girls are more cuddly, my two DSs hate being cuddled. Jacob just wants to be fed then put down for a wiggle, he kicks off if I try & hold him. Joshua just gives me a look if I ask for a cuddle!

I love having a girl :D :D
She is such a calm baby most of the time, i always get comments saying how relaxed and good she is (im sure it will change haha). I thought i would love dressing her up in little outfits but soon realised she looks much cuter in a pair of tights and a vest or a sleepsuit!!
I think she is going to have such a big personality.. she is already very strong at 3 months, able to sit up for a few seconds unaided and has amazing head control and leg control :)
I do love her lol!! she rarely cries unless something is wrong although she does get frustrated easily when she can't do something eg, sit up from a laying position x

My little girl is only 6 weeks old..but so far I've noticed that my son is far more laid back than my daughter is :) She definitly knows her own mind already!

I LOVE all of the accessories that come along with having a girl, picking her outfits are a highlight of my day :haha: However, I love dressing my little man in the trendy little clothes you can get for a boy toddler!

I'm not sure what my little girl will be like, but my little boy is the most cuddly little thing ever! So loving and caring :cloud9:

So many good things about boys and girls! :flower:
xx

I love having a boy to dress him, although I'd prob love that in a girl too! :dohh:

Although I must say I bet getting a urine sample from a boy is slightly easier, although we spent 2 1/2 hours in the hospital holding his willy into the cup. My boy has very good self control!

apparently boys are slower at reaching milestones but no one has told my LO!
He is desperately trying to sit up and held his bottle himself yesterday for the first time at 16 weeks old :happydance:

My girl is a diva now but shes so girly its unbelievable. She will only wear skirts that swish and loves playing with her babies. Shes very affectionate too :cloud9:

I'm scared of having a boy! Eek, a winky.

I love having a girl because there are so many preety clothes to choose from. She is also very laid back, hardley ever cries and loves cuddles. She babbles back to me when I talk to her, has been able to hold her head up from day one, has managed to roll over from her back to her front, and had lots of giggles. I am so proud of my little girl and wouldent change her for the world (although I would have loved her just as much if she had been a boy) I cant imagine my life without her now and her daddy feels the same.

my boy is very laid back but so independant! hes not a fan of being held and loves to play on his tummy. he wont sit in his bumbo, he can get out of it lol
he's very forward, he can sit unaided and he rocks on all fours, clever little boy. if he wants a cuddle he reaches out for me but as soon as daddy comes home from work mummy is forgotten! he's teething at the minute so is a grumpasaurus but is usually such a happy baby, singing and chatting all day long :cloud9:

I like both in different ways. Dd Was difficult as a newborn but sooo laid-back after 6months talking crawling and everything. I love buying pretty clothes and preferring shopping for her than ds. Downside is she NEVER stops talking and I mean never. :haha:
Ds was so easy as a newborn but now so demanding and gets grumpy quick but he's far more affectionate than dd. Ds is very much a mummy's boys :happydance: where as dd is definately a daddy's girl
Strangely I found girls nappies easier to change no bits to lift up to get to poop.:haha:

I love my little girls independent streak (unless I'm in the process of trying ot feed/change her!). I love that she has lovely clothes to wear! I love the thought of mother/daughter moments in the future - coffee outings and heart to hearts :flower:

I wish all our 'gift' toys weren't pink though. And I hope that, in the future, people will buy her cool toys like remote control cars or monster puppets - I can't bear the thought of a future filled entirely with dolls that wee!!!
