Anywhere between 24-28 weeks there is no point before that as it's unusual to developed gd before this as the placenta controls everything whereas in second tri your baby will be producing their own insulin and processing sugars which is where it matters we are all basically looking to avoid excessive growth and the risks to baby after birth. I've had the test and I'm still none the wiser!

Mine is not until the end of Nov. I don't get the logic behind it either. I mean if they suspect that excess glucose is crossing the placenta now, then surely it should be tested and confirmed now

I am having mine done tomorrow and I will be just over 20 weeks. I think it varies by doctor.

I have mine next week when I'll be 27 weeks. My doctor usually does them around 28 weeks, so it seems pretty normal that you're waiting so long for yours.

Im getting mine at 26 weeks. Dr says between 24-28 weeks. However, they check my urine for glucose every visit, and if they see anything they test someone right away.

Mine was originally scheduled for Dec around the 26 week mark I seem to remember, but I had to have it earlier this week at 16 weeks because there was glucose in my wee wee. I'm hoping that the glucose was just because I ate pineapple a little while before, and that I won't need to have the test again in Dec!

It should be done anytime between 24-28 weeks, I had 2 with my last pregnancy around that time and have one next week for this pregnancy x
