going for 6 week scan in 30 mins *update*

hi Ladies,

Im so nervous!! i have my 6 week scan today - mainly just a reassuring scan after my previous 2 losses, although i have had a lot of cramping the last week ive had (im afraid to say it out loud) no spotting or bleeding, im really hoping to see heartbeat today although considering ive had 2 consecutive m/cs with no af in between my dates are just guestimates although i did get 3+ on cb digi on monday so i should see somthing right?

I'm rambling sorry, just so nervous!

GOOD LUCK!!! I hope it goes great for you. After a m/c in June I saw the hb for this one at 6 weeks exactly. I know the anxiety all to well. I hope you get to see yours too!!!

Good luck! Don't worry about the crampy, I had a lot too 4th and 5th wk, as long as there's no spotting, it's probably the uterus growing and stretching!

well it went well - i think. doc dated me at 6w4days - which i think is impossible as i only had my last m/c 6weeks exactly today, she could see yolk sac - she thinks, the fetal pole - she thinks and couldnt be 100% sure that she could see the heartbeat - although when she kept the scanner still both oh and i said at the same time there's the heartbeat there as we both could see a flickering but she wouldnt confirm that that was the heartbeat, just said i couldnt put my bottom dollar on it but i think its all going to be ok - she was indian so i think it came out wrong but i got the jist lol

as i have a tilted uterus i normally have to lift my pelvis so they can get a better look but when i asked her will i lift my pelvis she just said no i can move the scanner to get a look.she didnt spend too much time looking for a heartbeat and just told me to come back in 2 weeks time.

what do you all think?

The dates deff seem wrong but hopefully when you go back in 2 weeks they will be able to get a proper heartbeat for you. good luck hun x

The dates do not seem logical that is for sure. If you don't mind my asking, was your miscarriage natural or did you have a d&c or anything? If your last m/c ended 6 weeks ago, I am kinda confused as to how you can even be 6 weeks exactly.

All that stuff put aside....I bet the dates are off and for them to see all that they did see is GREAT!! And if you and your husband saw a flicker and the sonographer thought maybe it was that is even better! Probably just pretty early and that sonographer didn't sound like she was too great either!! LOL! But all in all it sounds like it went well!! Do you have another one set up in a few weeks hun?

i took the day of the m/c as cd1, i got 3+ on a clearblue digi on monday putting me at 0ver 5 weeks and monday was 5 weeks and 3 days since m/c so today would of been 6 weeks exactly, i had a natural m/c both times the last one had spotting the whole week leading up to it, my doc said to count cd1 as the day of the m/c. i really hope we get a better scan in 2 weeks, the doc did say i would get a "beautiful" picture in 2 weeks time and said congratulations when we were leaving...
