Hey ladies! I need some hope, advice, and encouragement.AF is NEVER late and I am now 18dpo. I have become a POAS-aholic. Every morning it is a BFN. Should I call my dr or give it a few more days. I just wish I knew what was going on. I hate not having any control over this...

Hey Mrs_TypeA! I'm in the same boat as you except I'm 19dpo. I haven't poas yet today tho coz I hate the disappointment, so I'm gna wait til I miss my full period. I looked around on the internet and it said it's best to wait the whole week until you actually miss your period since the hpts aren't strong enough to sense the hcg hormones yet. But if nothing happens, I plan on making an appt. by the time the week is up just to make sure nothing's wrong.
Hi Dea! This boat we are in is so stressful! Do u feel like you have any symptoms? I feel like my whole life I tried so hard not to get pregnant and now wishing for a baby and it being so hard is frustrating. I am goin to give it a few days bc I can't stand the big red negative line starting my day anymore. I have a killer headache today and that is usually my warning for af.... So we will see. Keeps posted with what happens for you!

Hi there! I totally know how that feels... such a crappy situation to not know what's going on!
I agree with dea23 though - wait till a week after AF is due and then if you still haven't gotten a
or AF schedule in with your doc!
(I'll mention too that with my first pregnancy I didn't get a clear positive until 9 weeks gone, and while that's rare - it does happen!)

Hello again! I'm not sure if it's all in my head or if it's really there but I've been feeling extremely bloated lately, I'm not sure if it's my boobs or under my chest but it's in that general area. I've never had sore bbs whenever I've had AF so I'm not exactly sure how it feels. I do get headaches every now and then. Once while I was at the grocery store I felt a bit nauseous, as I was looking through the meat I really just wanted to go home even though I just got there. I've had these weird bubbly feelings in my uterus area and also like someone is poking me slowly from the inside, it's really strange. That's really all I can think of. Haven't had any warning signs that AF is coming usually I get crampy.
I actually tested this morning, i just couldn't help it, and it was still negative. Everyone I talk to tells me to wait another week to test, but it just seems like it's taking a life time. Hopefully AF stays away til then. Well keep me posted. Fx for you

Yep, I was young (19) and not trying to convcieve.
I didn't realize I was preggers for the first month because at the time AF was so sporadic. When I finally caught on I tested a few times and got nothing... waited two more weeks and started feeling nauseous daily so I tested again and had an ever so slight positive... went in to the woman's clinic (didn't have insurance at the time) and their test was slightly darker. I had some cramping and a bit of bleeding so they sent me in for an u/s the next week and I measured just over 9wks
I went home in shock and ended up testing a hand full more times before it became a clear positive a few days later... we were in awe I could be that far gone but it was true! So anything's possible! I followed a woman on another thread that was 15 weeks gone before getting her pregnancy confirmed via u/s. She never got a positive hpt!!

So Af came late last night with a vengeance. I feel so crampy that I almost stayed home. At least I know and we can go on trying next month. This is honestly the first time I have ever been this late in my life so who knows what happened. Dea:... Still have fx for you and keep me posted if you get your bfp!
