Going to ER soon possibly :(

I've had a terrible day. My uncle has been hospitalized since Friday night and tonight he told us we HAD to go see him, so I assumed it was bad news. (he's been very ill by the way - he's dying). So I've been stressing out. Well anyways, we get there, and he tells us they're giving him 2 weeks for the medicine to work, if it doesn't he needs surgery.

It freaked me out, and my vision went black, I got dizzy and my legs felt like jello. I thought nothing of it because I thought I was just upset from his news.

Well in the past hour and 20 minutes, I've had 6 contractions that come about every 10 minutes, sometimes more or less, but I've never had it like this. They don't hurt, but my back is killing me and sometimes I get a little sharp pain in my pelvic bone in the front. It doesn't hurt bad, but I think it isn't good if I'm having regular contractions.... So I'm keeping an eye on it and my mom is taking me to the ER if I continue to have them....

Do you girls think it could be bad?

Just an update I guess..

I never went to the ER, because the contractions started coming ever 15 minutes instead of 10. But they lasted longer? Like 30 seconds. Instead of the usual 15-20 seconds I was having. I ended up having 12 contractions total, the first ten were every 10 minutes, then the last two were every 15 minutes, then they just stopped.

Today I have a doctor appointment thankfully, so I'm going to talk to him about it and have him check me out to see what's up.

On a good note, I'm 30 weeks pregnant today. I can't believe I'm 3/4 of the way there!

Thanks girls My appointment went so much better than I thought!

My doctor checked my cervix and told me it's completely closed. He even felt Alex's head Didn't know Alex was that low into my pelvic bone!

My doctor told me though if I have 5-6 contractions in an hour again, to go to labor and delivery so I can be monitored.

Also told me Alex is getting soo big. Said he's got the growing thing down! I've even gained 6 pounds in the last two weeks.... But I'm just happy my son is perfectly healthy and growing good His heartbeat was 160 today too, that's pretty high!

Yay! Aww it's deffo better that he's growing than being behind bless him. Hope it doesn't happen again!
Dont worry about the weight, it's all worth it for baby boy and when he'd here you can work it all off! that's what's keeping me optimistic about pileing on the pounds haha can't wait to exercise again!

Glad you are ok though, i also had contractions when something bad happened because it was just too much for me at the time.
