Going to my GP

I'm 20 days late for my period, too many negative tests to count.
I've been off of birth control since march and had regular cycles til this one!

Do I tell my GP just this? What will they do? I'm a little scared he'll basically laugh and say it's just my body regulating from the pill..

well i would stand your ground lie if u have to and say uve been off BC longer. I wouldnt say its anything to panic about but i personally would want answers or at least tests!

I dont think he'll laugh, well he shouldnt do anyway! I wouldnt lie though, that makes no difference how long you've been off the Pill because you have been off it a while anyway. Good luck x

hi, just say ive had regular cycles since coming off the pill and now im late but a negitive test i woulddnt say you have done alot of them just say a couple. He shoiuld then test your urine and if that a no then ask him you want a scan or a blood test as you need to know!!!! just say how much it is stressing you out and he should look after you! good luck et us know xx

I'm going to make an appointment tomorrow. I think I may make it with another doctor though because mine made me feel pretty stupid when I told him I wanted to stop my meds for PND so I could start TTC

Aw, dont be nervous hun Some docs can be horrible but stand your ground. Good luck and let us know!

hey yeah I would go and tell them the truth and see what they say. If your truthful with them they know how to help you best.....let us know how it goes! x
