Gonna be a bridesmaid

Not been in here in a while, but just had to share...

One of my bridesmaids got engaged at the weekend, then yesterday she asked me to be one of her bridesmaids (along side her sisters)
So, I'm going to be a bride AND a bridesmaid in the space of about 12 months when I've never been either before

What are the 'rules' for bridesmaids? what are my 'duties'? lol

I am sooooo happy. We are going wedding dress 'browsing' together in a couple of weeks (although she is absolutely stunning so gonna feel a bit silly stood next to her) and I can't wait

Bridesmaids are there to support the bride during planning, complete tasks as requested by the bride, organise the hen do, look after on the morning of the wedding, and be on hand during the day to help with veil/dress/loo stops as well as ensuring all guests are happy xxx

Sounds like I need to 'make friends' with her sisters then I already know her soon to be SIL coz I used to work with her, but the other two I've only met once!
