Just seen the news and....
Pregnant women could soon be able to tell whether their unborn baby has Down's Syndrome without being at risk of damaging the foetus thanks to a new scientific development.
At the moment, women have to undergo an amniocentesis - where a long needle is inserted into the womb to take a sample of fluid however, it does carry a small risk of miscarriage.
Scientists in America have developed a safer test than current procedures. The new technique is as simple as having a blood test.
