My lil man has been refered to a specialist nursery for two days a week, to run alongside his current nursery place.
It was the Speech Therapist who reffered us, I cant believe how quick they did it too!
So this afternoon I have the manager and one of the teachers comming round to see us and talk about it at 3.30. Really hope they agree that he will benifit from going. Its very rare for them to have spaces available, so we are really lucky that they have one at the mo. Just hope he gets it. Thankfully it should be funded too as there is no way I could afford the £60 a session fee (£120 a week!)
But it would mean he would be going somewhere 5 mornings a week! plus I would have to drive him to this new one as its in Epsom (25 mins drive away) which could be fun when baby arrives!

Got to go and get my cleaning head on now as it looks like a bomb's gone off in here!

Good luck with it all hun, I hope he gets the place that he needs x

Crossing my fingers that he gets in!!!

Update

They were lovely people! :happydance:

I chatted about Noah and his behaviour and my concerns over his development with the manager whilst Noah played with the speech therapist. He took to them straight away and gave them both a big hug! bless him xXx They agree that he would benifit from going there.

We have been invited to have a look around the nursery next week, they are expanding in the new year and are starting a new class. Noah will be one of the first ones. Each class has its own speech therapist who will work with each child and they also are allocated a core skills worker too. The prospectus she left looks fab and he will be funded for two terms (as he was refererd by a health care worker) which will take us up to june/july.

They will also work together with his current nursery which is great, so there will be consitancy throughout. :happydance:

This is great news x
I have my appointment with the COG special needs playgroup tomorrow about matilda starting the mother and toddler group in order to progress to the playgroup when she is two xx
This is also for special needs.

That is fantastic news hun, I'm so pleaesd for you and Noah x
