It was awful, luckily though it seems to be gone today and I am just feeling really tired, still a little queasy but haven't thrown up at all. in the end I just resigned myself to the fact that I wasn't super mum and one day of not giving my son constant attention really wouldn't do him any harm in the long run. I also got my OH to take him to his grandmas for a few hours so I could get some sleep in the evening and that really helped I think. sorry! Hope that you feel better soon. Its the worst and you have my sympathy (not that that helps), just take it that tomorrow will be a better day, and you just need to get through today. I had terrible morning (day and night) sickness with dd and had to often leave my ds - he was 3 months old when I became pregnant), his room is opposite the bathroom, and I literally would sob being sick while he sobbed clinging to the stairgate in front of the room - it was completely terrible and went on for months (with a few good days chucked in)... but we got there... Is there no one that could help at all just while you get through today xx
my lo has a viral infection too so is also clingy.
