well i've been alot more calm(for a whole 2 1/2 days :) )but got the crap scared out of me today. was messing around on the comp., middle of the day, and my wife goes to the restroom. needless to say she starts moaning and groaning, obivously in pain. this goes on for 15-20minutes. about 3 minutes into it i ask if she ok, she says yes. needless to say i'm sitting in the other room freaking out, nearly giving myself a heart-attack worring  .
when she finally comes out, i say are you ok again. she say's "yea i'm fine... i told you that when you asked" like it was no big thing. i told her how worried i was and she says, i said i was fine just believe me.
so after this i was thinking about the book i just finished and what the guy said about the actual birth. i am going to worry myself to death when she's in labor. i hate it when she uncomfortable, or God forbid she crys... it kills me. what the hell am i going to do when she's in real pain and i can't do anything to help. i'm gonna go nuts ! just thought i'd share :)

Aww that's very sweet of you. If there is something you need to worry about I'm sure she'd tell you. Just keep being there for her.

That's nice to know you care so much. Honestly when the time comes you just need to be strong and listen to everything she says and be prepared for her to change her mind every five minutes with what she wants. My husband was brilliant as he just stayed calm, didn't fuss and just did what I asked for. My only advice is don't be overly fussy because I think I would have hit him if he had. You'll know what to do

i agree dont fuss lol! You dont wanna be toutched in labour or fussed over or asked questions, ur in pain and just wanna take each contraction as it comes, just be there for her i'm sure she'll tell u if something is wrong if it is.xx
