Growing up milk Vs cows milk

Tom has 1 bottle of toddler milk at bedtime now. He has cows milk to drink 1st thing in the morning.

I've kept him on formula rather than completely going over to cow's milk as he's pretty fussy with food and there's lots of things he doesn't eat. That way I know he is getting some of the vitamins and minerals he needs each day.

My son was BF until 11 months and then we gave him formula for a month. At 12 months I got some follow on milk and it was horrible. Sweet, vanilla-flavoured rubbish. We binned it and went onto cow's milk.
I firmly believe that they put extra sweetener and vanilla flavouring into follow on milk just so that babies will prefer it and won't want cow's milk. It just gives them a sweet tooth.
