Hi - just wondering if anyone had a similar issue to this. We have bi-weekly scans for other reasons anyway and the baby has always been around the 46th centile.

Now today at 32 weeks they estimate she has only put on 100g in 2 weeks and has dropped to the 14th centile.

The doctor said 'there has been a slow down in growth but Im not that concerned'

The thing is I think I am a bit more concerned now. I wonder when they ask 'how is everything' and i say 'fine' should i have told them about a couple of quiet days we have had?

Im just worrying I guess. I know the centile itself doesnt matter but you dont want to see it drop and 46th to 14th is a big drop isnt it? In 2 weeks? We dont have another scan for 2 more weeks so im more worried. I would have thought they would have scanned again in a weeks time.

Anyway sorry for the essay - anyone in a similar boat? What have you been told?

I'm currently measuring at 33 weeks - I'm 36 weeks tomorrow.

From the very start baby was measuring on the 90th percentile (like for like with dates) - he's now dropped to the 50th. Midwife said she's not concerned at the moment and will check again at the next appointment. (At 37 weeks)

I'm seeing the consultant tomorrow - not sure if she'll check fundal height though.

I had a slow down around that time too n MW wasn't concerned. If your doc is happy then try not to worry but keep an eye on baby's movements.

I was at MW yesterday (36+5) and baby is now back on track, just had a growth spurt one fortnight. Rest up, eat well and see how you next appointment goes x

I do not have any advice or answers, but I am in a similar situation. I have been getting monthly scans. The baby went from the 45th percentile to the 38th and now the 28th (at the 35 week scan). I am worried too. My doctor never even mentioned it! I just realized it the other day. I have another scan and appointment with the high risk doctor on Thursday, so I will ask him then. I will let you know what he tells me. It is frustrating because I feel like they do not explain anything to me unless there is something seriously wrong.

I saw my doctor today and she did a follow up ultrasound. She said she was not worried about the percentile drop, as he is still growing. She also checked the blood flow of the umbilical cord and said it was good, so he is getting what he needs. I am still a little nervous, but she did a really thorough look on the ultrasound.
