growth scan

I'm off for a growth scan tomorrow because I've been measured at 34 both this week and two weeks ago. I remember having one around this time in pregnancy with my daughter and everything turning out to be fine so I'm not too worried I just wondered how they know if somethings wrong? Anyone had a growth scan and it flag up any problems at 36 weeks?

I had a Dr tell me I was measuring small with lo went for a growth scan at the maternity hospital baby was just fine. Top consultant told me that Fundal heights can be way off and baby still be fine.
As for something being picked up now, there is a small chance of late on set IUGR but at this stage baby would do just fine.
