Had accident - slipped down my stairs :( - Protein in urine

Ergh what a day! I slipped on the top step of my shair case this morning. Landed on my bum and elbow - got horiffic bruise on the top of my bum/ bottom of my back and bruised elbow.

Had to go hospital to check baby checked out. i did a urine sample for them and they took bloods. As im rhesus negative, with anti-E antibodies and a low PAPP-a level

looked in my notes when i got home and it says urine - trace protein ?? Bit upset as im on aspirin for the majority of my pregnancy which i was told is because im at a greater risk of developing pre-eclampsia but my blood pressure was fine??

anyone else had this?

I got to go in tomorrow to get my anti D shot anyways so i going to check with them.

I had protein nearly every sample my last pregnancy. My blood pressure was always normal. And once so far this time and my BP has been a bit wonkier than usual Its usually nothing to worry about, maybe if its 2+.. 3+ dont worry im sure they would have said something if they were concerned. Its normal in pregnancy too.

First of all I really hope you are ok after your fall, I can imagine that hurt A LOT. You poor thing

When I had protein and blood in my wee last week it was because of the cystitis, my blood pressure was fine too so maybe ask them about a wee infection.

Try not to worry about it though I asked my Mum when I had mine and she told me not to worry and I trust her because she's a consultant at the hospital, very handy when you're paranoid as I am!!

I get protein in my urine every now and then. It's usually when I haven't had enough fluid and the sample looks a bit cloudy. It's usually gone by the next checkup though
