Had my 12wk scan!! :D

It was AMAZING!!

I only drank 1 pint of water as I was para about peeing myself.. Then she said my bladder was getting in the way so kept pushing it out the way and I very nearly did!!

So baby would not keep still!! It took her 15mins to get the measurement from head to bum!
It was weird seeing him/her kicking around and not being able to feel it
They kept pushing their hands up and putting them on their knees which was sooo cute! (OH cried haha!)

We got to see:
Brain
Heart
Arms & Hands
Feet & Legs
The Cord
And even their little Nose and Jaw!!

Anna (my midwife) said she was glad that I opted out of the DS screening as baby wasn't keeping still enough to be able to check lol.
We paid for 3 pictures but Anna gave us 2 for free so I have 5 of my little spud!

Any guesses on gender? Everyone keeps saying girl.. Even OH who was convinced we're having a boy aha

So here s/he is!!!

I'm not gonna guess, but nice to hear everything went well. At my 12 week scan LO was so lazy, s/he wasn't even lying down LO was sitting up as you can see on my profile lol! As soon as the sonographer put the thing on my belly s/he jumped was so cute.

Aww! LO was lying with his/her back to us at first then kept like jumping lol it was funny
I should of known baby would be awkward with me and OH as parents aha
Just hoping s/he co-operates on the 16th November so we can find out the gender..
Weird cause that doesnt seem so far away!!

Awww 16th Nov aint far hun, it's like round the corner basically. It is far if you are impatient like me and can't wait to find out the gender, but it really isnt
Same LO is stubborn, wouldn't move when we tried to get it to lool, I wasn't suprised though because me and OH are quite stubborn people and often clash

Awww, i remember the early scan pic you posted and baby was a tiny bean my bub was asleep at our 12 week lol he lifted his arm once and then fell asleep again. I got stung by a wasp in the waiting room before the scan and cried but they must of felt sorry for me because i got all 4 of my pictures free

Our 20 week though he went crazy and we were in there for over 40 mins and i had to sit on a wedge and lay in all sorts of positions so she could measure him, it was so lovely to see!

my nub guess would be a boy but my skull theory i would say girl. So i have no idea lol

Aww cute I remember my 12 weeks scan baby was just as active at the gender scan it's absolutely beautiful watching them throw a party in there It's good that she was willing to work with you to make sure you saw all the important parts of your baby.

And I agree with one of PP's, nub theory I think but skull theory I think !
I'm glad your baby was great! I remember at 10 weeks seeing my little sweet pea jump like crazy It truly is amazing and beautiful

Haha well I hope one of the theories is right! Cant believe it's only like 8 weeks till we find out anyways
I cant believe how much baby has changed since my 9 week emergency scan when baby looked like a bean with dental floss legs lol!

Was happy they give out the bounty packs at the scan too cause I kept forgetting to go to Boot or Sainsburys to get it
Need to sort out my stuff cause my collection of baby things is growing rapidly!
