Had my early scan but dates are confusing me

So I had my early pregnancy scan today after spotting last week and happy to say that baby has a heartbeat and is where they should be in my uterus. Thing is, my dates were 6 weeks but they have said 4-5 weeks. Im reading everywhere how you cant see anything before 5 weeks? Really confused. I did the CB digital and conception thing yday and it is 3 plus weeks ( 5 plus weeks) and i got my first positive over a week ago.

it might be 6 weeks since your last period but the baby may be 4 weeks- they might not have been talking about weeks in terms of your last period but how many weeks the baby measured? in which case what they are saying would make sense
