Had my first a ppt today and omg

I went in to my first a ppt with midwife today I am 8 weeks and two days. This is number five for me so I new what to expect. Well my mid wife said wow you gained a lot of weight in eight weeks let's give you a ultra sound to see if you are further along than eight weeks. So as she is doing the ultra sound she said oh no wonder why u are big you are having Twins! Omg Im still in shock. Amyone else eight weeks pregnant with twins?

WOW!! Congratulations . I would love to be having twins but I thin my incredible weight gain is purely down to eating loads to keep the nausea at bay lol. Wishhing you a H&H pregnancy x

Hello congratulations on your twins!

I had an early reassurance scan done two weeks ago when I was 9 weeks, and found out I am having non identical twins! I knew something was different about this pregnancy as I have been feeling unusually ill, and I didn't really have any sickness with my two DD's (maybe slight sickness with my second). We were in the process of buying a new car, and I said to my OH shall we have a scan first to make sure theres not two in there, but we decided against. Now we will need to get another car!! x

Thank you everyone. I know what you mean I have felt so diff with this pregnancy. I'm still sick in bed ihave been in bed for three weeks. I cant wait to start feeling better.
