Had my first scan today...

Had my first scan ever, seen lil beanie i think he/she was fast asleep didn't see it move midwife said everything lookd normal and heartbeat was fine

i'm still 12 wks so same date. however i didn't get a good view of d baby since my bladder was empty & midwife was pressing really hard i almost wantd to cry.. my DH also said aftrwards it that it lookd as if i was in alot of pain the way she was digging into me.
Since i've come home it feel uncomfortable down ther still feels as if its sore .. jus wantd to know is that normal? sorry about d long mesg..

Well your bladder is supposed to be full so she probably had to dig. I wouldn't worry too much about it.

If your bladder was empty she should have done an internal scan. What a way to bring down a time that is supposed to be very joyous! Sometimes my sonographer pushes down pretty hard but still not as bad as you described.
