So, I need some recipes for finger foods that I can make ahead of time. Any tips? Whats your party snack?

Im also having a halloween party, what kind of finger foods...spooky ones or just regular?

For my sandwiches in going to cut them in the shape of hands...severed hand sandwiches lol and stuff like that...want the table to look gruesome. Im also making ice hands using latex gloves filled with water in the freezer and put n the punch bowl.

bat wings are always good. there basically just spicy or regular cooked in a dark sauce to make them look like there from bats and you can pour whatever sauce over them you desire, if any at all, but just label them bat wings.

And i may be making kitty litter cake haha.

theres quite a good list on this site, im going to make quite afew of them...of course, it depends on what age people are who youve invited...some might not appreciate alot of gory stuff haha!

What is kitty litter cake??

Im looking for different recipes too, made lots of shop bought ones last year - bats, lollies, spooky sandwiches etc. But this year I want more gory looking foods!

You can also go to an arts and crafts store and buy cookie cutters in the shape of pumpkins, skulls, etc. and decorate cookies. There's tons of neat recipes on google as well.

Kitty litter cake.
Its basically a crumble (any filling you want...the crumbles the cat litter) with chocolate on the top which you melt and shape like bits of cat poop (minging i know) to put on top of the crumble. All served in a new, obvs never used litter box with a fresh new poopa scoop to slice with

Its minging but tbh it'll be cheap to make (poundland near me sells the poop-a-scoop and trays in a set) and i want to see the look on peoples faces

ahh! i worked at a humane society for a few years, and on one of my birthdays one of the girls made me one of those!!

also - i know the kraft canada website has lots of different hallowe'en recipe ideas! and they have lots of party ideas that aren't specific to hallowe'en!

some are more for kids, like the fun cakes. but there are things like "coffin sandwiches" that are finger foods, but have the whole hallowe'en theme!!!
