Hampers???

Not to sound stupid...but what are hampers? I've read a few posts on these, don't think we do these in the US. Either that, or I have no clue as to what they are lol

Collections of items based on an interest of someone's bundled in a basket or box and wrapped in cellophane for fancy presentation!

For example for my brother and his gf I'm giving a night in hamper so it's got a movie voucher, crisps, popcorn, sweets, cocktail recipe book, umbrellas, lemon and lime. Fil has got gardening, mil baking, mum sweet treats, nannie purple collection of random things and grandad a crossword one. Saved me a fortune just buying little bits and gonna look fab I hope!

ive just started MIL and mums.
so far i have bought the baskets, put in creme brulee bubble bath an eye cooler mask, a fancy flannel, a candle,wine glass with a wine charm (gunna buy some wine) and gingerbread smelling soaps.
Im gunna buy more things tho, not bad seen as i only started yday.

This isnt any type of hamper, just a treat yourself hamper.

face masks
hair masks
book
a posh vintage looking bookmark
chocolate
wine
comfy bed socks
bath bombs
dvd
bottle of nail polish
and maybe a five pound voucher
