Hello, I'm Gem, and I am just about to start up a small business making and selling baby products etc...

The products I have though of so far are
1)nappies
2)changing bags
3)slings/baby carriers
4)footmuffs
5)re-usable breastpads
6)flongies
7)fleece covers for disposable nappies
8)dribble bibs
9)bunting
10)letter pillows

I would appreciate it if you could answer a few questions for me

1) Do you/Are you going to use any of the products I have listed above?

2) If so, is there anything about the products you would change/think can benefit my products?

3) Are there any products on the list that you think are pointless and/or silly? If so, Why?

4) Is there anything you think I should change about my product list?

5) Are there any other products you think I should think about selling

6) I am thinking of packaging my products in canvas bags, is this a good idea? Or should I just package them in boxes?

Any other comments/suggestions

1,2,4,7,9 yes

Clearly you'll need a distinct brand and a USP

3) Are there any products on the list that you think are pointless and/or silly? If so, Why?

5 - why would you want a reusable one when you can get J&J disposable ones for ten a penny

10 - not sure about these, letters for the wall would be more useful. Pillows would just get in the way/be an additional thing to have in the nursery and so probably wouldnt sell as well as wall hangings

4) Is there anything you think I should change about my product list?

5) Are there any other products you think I should think about selling

muslin

6) I am thinking of packaging my products in canvas bags, is this a good idea? Or should I just package them in boxes?

Sounds expensive. recycled cardboard with branding on it would be nice and would show you as an ethical company. Shaped like the gift boxes you get in M&P
