Yeah I feel so much pressure now that my d day is here! I kinda wish they wouldn't give you a specific due date because that just makes people crazy!

yes it does make you crazy!!!!!!!!! my next appointment is tmw for a cervix check i have been 1 cm the last 2 weeks....so we will see what tmw brings. when is your next check? are you dilated at all?

I've been 1.5 cms for the last 2 weeks and 50% effaced, I go in for a stretch and sweep on Wednesday if nothing happens before then, and after that I"m going to get a massage from my birthing instructor... she's going to do some reflexology and mash on some pressure points.
I'm bouncing on my ball like a mad woman and been trying to have sex with DH every chance I get! Along with the EPO tabs I don't know what else I could be doing! I haven't had any "real" contractions yet that I'm aware of, felt some discomfort and had a little glob of something brown come out last night, but no official "bloody show" or anything like that.
Have you had any other signs??

Thanks girl... been thinking about you ever since your thread about your mom... hope things start getting better for you. I can imagine how tough it is as we have a similar situation with my MIL.

Well 1.5 cms is better than my fingertip-1cm , I've tried sex, bouncing in my ball using my breast pump, waking, eating spicy foods pretty much everything I could think of this weekend. I get a few brief aches here and there but nothing I'm able to time so we will see what this afternoons check brings and go from there . I wish you luck with your next appointment and maybe the mAssage will help you

The brown glob could be part of your plug. Fx! I think the spicy foods and sexy time are great ideas. How about drinking tea? Which teas do they say bring on contractions? Pressure points sound very smart too. And loads of walking.
Let us know how your sweep goes munchkin. I heard it's not a bad idea to bring a pad, just in case you start to bleed.

Well I'm still here with ya now 6 days overdue! Recheck today and if no baby by Sunday ill be induced at 5 pm Sunday evening ...... I hope she comes before then...... I had acupuncture yesterday and have another appointment today after I see my doctor so lets hope it stirs up something. Other than that I haven't had any contractions that I can feel or any other signs. Good luck !!!!!
