So it's my due date! But....I have had absolutely NO signs o my lil fella arriving MW is coming out today to give me a s&s...this is my first pregnancy so I just wondered if it worked for you ladies who chose to have one,and does it hurt? TIA!

Happy due date! I've had 2 sweeps since my EDD and neither have worked unfortunately, but apparently my cervix is very 'favourable' and 2cm dilated. I dont find it uncomfortable, similar to a smear test. I hope it works for you! xx

Well ladies,I had my sweep at around 9:30 thismorning & it hasn't made a blind bit of difference haha.I'm only 1cm dialated but mw felt baby's head.no it wasn't painful just a bit uncomfortable.still,was worth a go.booked in to be induced on the 26th June..far too long to wait for me so fingers crossed something will happen before then! Xx

Happy due date! and welcome to the waiting game
You'll see, it will come fast enough tho. Now that I think about it, my due date was Tuesday and I can't believe it's already friday. I'm getting induce next friday probably, still waiting for confirmation.

Hopefully you won't get there. 1cm is really not bad too, it can go quick for some people or it can take a long time. Good luck!
