Happy due date to meeee....but I'm not so happy

It's my due date today.
Happy due date to all the other 13th ladies.
But I am well and truly fed up now.
If you have seen my posts, I've had pink/bloody mucus for the last week, had a sweep on thurs (was 2-3 cm dilated 75% effaced) lots of red bloody mucus friday and for the most frustrating part......
I've been up 2 nights in a row now with irregular contractions! Sat night/sun morning pains were not so bad but wore off. Got checked at hospital yesterdat evening and was fully effaced and 3cm dilated. The contractions I've had through last night are sooooooo much more painful and intense but not very regular as in getting increasingly closer, for the past few hours they have been between 8 mins and 5 mins apart.
I feel so tired and fed up feel like my body is desperately trying to be in proper labour but not progressing

this was zanes due date aswel and the day my oh asked me to marry him, which i wasnt impressed about at the time hahaha
and i had alot of what ur going thru now and i no how frustrating it can be, but make today about u and spoil urself rotten, with any luck u might not be able to do it for awhile very soon lol

my pains started on the 12th and then a week later with the pains still there i was told i was in early labour, but my body wasnt working so i was still induced by waters being poped, its the strangest feeling hahaha

you've had stressful tiring few days try a hot bath, some calming music and without sounding patronising try and relax get some paracetamol down ya and get some sleep if you can. You're going to need all your energy for delivery it will happen i know exactly how you feel but you need to relax sending big hugs

Going to get up in a bit have tea and toast, have a shower, try to look presentable and rocking on my birthing ball, but really feel like just curling up in bed and crying the thought of every night being like this and waiting for days on end is sending me mad

its horrible but worth every second...well it is until they become a toddler and push ur buttons hahaha

and it cant all be that bad as i went thru what u are and we are going to try for baby 2 next month....i must be mad lol

also try going for a walk and then make the most of being able to go the loo urself lol as soon u wont be doing that for awhile. come to think of it i still cant pee alone and zanes almost 2.

make someone give u a huge back rub later x

Aw, hope he comes soon. My DD tomorrow and despite constant backache for the last week I have had no symptoms and am prepqring myself for the long haul. Try no to get too fed up, it will be sooo worth it!! Lots of love xxx

thanks girls, going to rock on my birthing ball allllllllll day long as going for walks seems to do nothing for me as I have been on hour long walks every day since weds lol

Happy Due Date, hun! How frustrating for you. I was really expecting to come on here this morning and read that Tristan had arrived! Come on little boy!!
