hard tummy!!

hey just a quick one.....does anyone elses tummy sometimes go rock hard.... my consulatant yesterday said it could be braxton hicks already... feels really odd...xxx

mine goes hard on 1 side (usually te left) obvs where LO is laying then moves about.. no idea about brixton hicks this early thought it was 20+ weeks you get that, prob wrong cus your doc even said lol !

Yer mine is the left too.. its strange and last a couple of seconds which to me does remind me a bit of braxton hicks but ur right i thought they came much later... consultant seems tot hink we get it the whole way through our pregnancy!! Oh well who am i to argue i have no clue...lol..x

Hello,

I have had braxton hicks since 16 weeks! I am now almost 24 weeks and get them 1-2 times a day. My doc told me as long as it's not accompanied by cramping & you aren't experiencing more than 4/hour than you shouldbe fine!

I'm 21 weeks, and occasionally it gets rock hard, but I never even thought of braxton hicks I just think it feels like my LO is laying in that area at the time.

I always assumed mine was all the bloating of which I have certainly had more than my fair share. My tiny bump is pretty solid but I have very little fat on me so I figure what is there is all baby and fluid.... but then I have never experienced this before so I am somewhat clueless.

I'm right there with you. as a matter of fact, when LO started moving, I thought it was just gas! lol!

I still can't identify the internal movements as I am convinced it is gas but since I felt something from the outside the other night then some of the bubbly, gurgling stuff is probably baby....either that or I am pregnant with a witch's cauldron.

Yep, get that hard bump thing too, have done for a few weeks now. I don't usually notice it unless I feel that it's gone hard. It is Braxton Hicks but without the cramping that goes with them.

Probably baby. I think they call it fluttering...? doubt you're pregnant with a witch's cauldron, although I know the fumes I can give off sometimes make me think I might be too! lol
