Hope everything is ok. Alfie has to have his kidneys scanned soon cos of a urine infectiuon, its so worrying isn't it

 

Hope he's okay. He does sound really tiny and like maybe he needs to be checked out a bit?

dermatologist? try not to worry, it's good that he's seeing all these people and then they can find out if anythings wrong and if there is something that needs fixing, they can fix it!

 

noooo, google is not your friend! Hopefully someone else will have some experience with liver scans and stuff. I feel very fortunate not to have been through that with Alasdair. He's had 2 ultrasounds on his kidneys but they were fine and he slept through one of them! If it's an ultrasound that Harry is having he'll be fine

 

He does sound small but then you aren't big so he was never gonna be massive! Try not to worry until you speak to people. If you are really worried though, why don't you go and see your GP?

 

that sucks I'm sorry they won't be more straight with you. Hope the time goes quickly til you can see the specialists.

 

ah hun. Best to get these things checked but understandably you will be worrying. His weight does seem small for a 7 month baby. Was he prem or have a small birth weight or anything?

 

my 8yr old gal was similar, she was always loosing weight and at 12months was in 0-3 clothes still, she had a condition called 'PIE' for short bascially a hole in one off her intestines.

she had an op to fix it though, try not to worry xx

 

I wouldn't worry too much until they can do some tests. If they were really worried they would be rushing him in - even though he's small for his age now, he has more than doubled his birth weight, which must be a good sign. Hope everything's ok x

 

she had a milk scan done but this was almost 8years ago, as i said they done an op to fix it, now she is ok still little under weight but ok xx

 

given that his birth weight was so small, it is more than likely that has a lot to do with why he is still small. The fact that he is losing weight could come down to a multitude of things, google is not the answer!! Everything is always ten times worse when you look at that for answers, there are so many possibilities. As others have said, if there was a major concern he would have been rushed in and not have to wait ta few weeks. Hope all picks up for your little man. x
