We brought our buggy yesterday and the pliko is what we went for.. We took it straight to OH's parents and as it was quite late in the day we didn't look at it just left it in the box.. Went back round today to have a play with it and everything put the wheels on etc and just generally get excited lol.. Couldn't find any fault whatsoever I LOVE it. Lightweight. Easy to collapse/put up etc quick to change from pram to buggy mode nice design just overall a lovely pram. Was just wondering if anyone had any experience's with one (good or bad) so I can get to know the pram a little better.. Didn't want to play with it too long because I know I'd get to attached to it lol. Thank you in advance xxx

I had a 2nd hand pliko when my son was a little older.
I loved everything about it, the adjustable foot/calf rest and the handles. Also I found the seat positions really easy to do, and the swing out bumper bar.
I managed to get a free matching car seat for it, loved how easy it was to clip in, and gave the whole thing to our friends who were expecting though.

Wish I had kept it as I'm not keen on the new rubbery bumpy handles so have gone for a silver cross instead- simply because it is the closest thing out there to the pliko! :)

I've just ordered the Pliko pramette in Cityscape so keen to see peoples reviews on it. My friend has it and hasn't had any problems with it as far as I know.

We had the Pliko switch for Poppy. Had no problems with it and as travel systems go it couldn't be easier to use. Good choice :)

we had a second hand pilko for a while with ds it was great, nice and light and easy to fold and pop in the boot of the car

i had it for caleb and loved it!

i bought the pilko pramette when i was havin my lil girl 4 years ago i paid £300 for it i only really used it when she was 1st born (think i used it most about 20 times ) i loved it so much i kept hold of it just incase my buggy broke which luckly it didnt i got my dad to wrap it up an really well an put it in the loft, when i found out i was expecting again i forgot i had this pram an went an ordered the icandy cherry in blue, my dad went up in the loft the other day an found my pram an brought it down the stairs an sed look wht ive just found we unwrapped it an it was still in the same condition as it was when i bought so i decided to cancel my pram an got the white liner tht they come with now an a bag to go with it (am lucky cos the still do the city scape colour) an am using this with my lil one untill hes old enough to go into a buggy i want ~( i change my prams all the time ) i can honestly say i had no problems with the pram i loved it an still love it they are so light an compact an really easy to use an change into the forward facing position
(sorry for the long story )
I THINK U HAVE A GREAT PRAM XXXXX

I'm glad someone asked this question because i have had my heart set on this pram for ages and i wanted to know what people thought of it! I think it will definitely be my pram of choice! x

I have the pliko switch and love it. One thing I like is the bumper bar, the way you can open it from either side and depending where you're going not even strap child in cos the bumper bar is holding them in. I think the whole thing is great!

I'm on my 5th pram now Pliko was DEF my favourite out of our 'newborn' prams..
and now for our 'upright lightweight' sort of prams we are loving the luna too!

so go m&p!!! xx

I hope i dont put any one off buying the pliko but i wanted to share my experience of it.

I had the pliko pramette in city scape (with car seat) Initially when i test drove it i thought it was great. However once baby was here i found some faults :(

* In pram mode the base doesnt lay completely flat, it kinda slopes up at the foot end resulting in baby being on the wonk . Not Good
*The raincover is RUBBISH! It hardly covers the pram and in my opinion should be one that covers the whole pram.
*In pushchair mode the cosytoes doesnt seem to 'pop' down, so the side flaps are flapping about?

All in all it was ok, i used it until ella could use a stroller and i ended up selling the car seat and pramette on ebay for £100 and bought a quinny (now these ARE great!)

This time i am avoiding buying a m&p pram LIKE THE PLAGUE, i think they are poorly made with an expensive price tag.

Ive gone for the icandy peach which i hope is better :) If it isnt, ill go back to my quinny again

Ours seems fab. I have read reviews about how the bottom of the pram slopes up when in pramette mode but don't seem to have this problem at all. I think perhaps its is the older style that did have this problem and it has since been corrected? If anything ours has a slightly raised head end rather than foot end, which I think is ideal. It does also seem that the older style didn't come ready assembled which worsened the issue of sloping pramette mode in some cases, whereas now they get delivered already assembled other than having to add the wheels on.

We bought the separate cosy toes, rather than just using the apron that came with the original set. This straps into the straps when in pushchair mode and has a removal zip on cover section which zips round the bottom/their feet so their isn't any gaps or flapping about etc. This is also good as its all washable so makes for an easy removable liner when in pushchair mode (something else that the pushchair isn't ideal for as liner can't be removed and washed)

I am aware though, that a common issue is the raincover that comes with it is not very good. There is a lot of reports of seams breaking, and then some people then have difficulty getting a replacement from M&P even when it breaks on first usage. I took this issue on board and did a lot of reading, and although I hope we won't 'have to' a lot of the reviews state it is better to buy a new full raincover for this pushchair as it covers the whole thing if bought separately rather than the 'free' one which is included in the package. Apparently they can be bought on ebay for much less than sold in M&P so the worst scenario is we get fed up of the partial cover and buy a full one instead.
