has anyone O'd naturally after clomid and mc

So I had taken 4 rounds of clomid, the last was 150mg and I finally O'd on that dose. I got my BFP after that cycle but miscarried at 6 weeks . The doc doesn't want to see me again for 3 months, so no more clomid for 3 months. I want to continue to try and have heard that you are sometimes more fertile after a mc. I bought some OPK's but wouldn't be time for them to be positive yet. I was just wondering if anyone has O'd naturally after clomid with or without a mc. Just wondering if I should even get my hopes up.

Sorry about your loss. I think it's possible! Were you ov'ing on your own at all before clomid??

No I wasn't O'ing on my own at all before clomid. I had been ttc for over a year when I saw a fertility specialist. I didn't really O until after the 4th cycle of clomid 150mg. Just wondering if anyone else has been in this situation and O'd naturally. The doc doesn't want to try again for 3 months and I just want to be preg again as soon as possible.

You could try taking soy as clomid cd3-7 . it works for some women who dont ovulate on their own. so sorry for your loss and I hope you get another BFP soon.

I am totally the woman to answer his question! First question: My first ppregnancy ended in a mc- two weeks later I found out I was pregnant with my daughter ( she is 7 now). Then I tried and tried- no pregnancy. I had been on the depo (it's evil I found out) for 2 years. Once I stopped I couldn't ovulate. So my OBGYN put me on clomid for a fwe months. Still nothing. So I stopped clomid and the next month ovulated and got prego! So yes to both- you can ovulate naturally. I did take a natural suplement called Black Cohosh as it is supposed to help with "female problems" and I was desperate. But your body has a way of springing into action all on it's own. This is exactly the answer I was looking for I really want to be pregnant again as soon as possible. I am really hoping that I can ovulate on my own so that I don't have to wait the three months. You have given me some peace of mind. Thanks so much

I am new to this forum so havent figured out how to post w/o quote (sorry!) If no luck maybe try the Black Cohosh- you can get it anywhere. Years ago Native Americans and "old timers" used it to help fix woman issues. It helps with ovulation, painful periods...stuff like that. I know after I took it I started ovulating almost immediately, then I stopped taking it. Good luck!

So after some research I have found a supplement at a local health store that has the soy isoflavones and black cohosh in it. As soon as AF comes to visit I am gonna give it a try Keep your FX'd.

Yes, both my SIL and friend were on Clomid, neither of them got their BFP's while on Clomid, but both did a couple of months later!!!
