Has anyone started buying baby things?

Well today we brought a few baby things but in our defense we have a friend who works for a baby shop and can get a huge discount but she is only working there for the next few months.
So we brought our bassinet, play pen, hi chair, port a cot, pram and capsule
Has anyone else started buying things before they have conceived??

I keep thinking about it but have resisted so far. Only because if I struggle to conceive I think looking at all the things will break my heart.

That said a friend did buy me some baby clothes recently, I think it was his way of showing he has every confidence for a baby soon! Wish I had the same confidence!!!

I mostly held back because it was hard to look at... but after 6 months and no ovulation and moving on to clomid soon, im actually finding it comforting to buy some baby stuff. looking at it is giving me hope now instead of making me sad.
Im storing it at my mums and can go look at it anytime i want and daydream about the baby i WILL have

quilty! I have the closet full of wipes and a few diapers. they were a great deal so I couldn't pass it up.... I have a few other things and lil onsies... this is my second. so Im making sure I do things different this time and starting early
