I just stopped taking bcp not even a week ago and my husband have had sex a few times since ive stopped and I know I'm not due for my period until next month but I have been having some spotting. I didn't think I could get pregnant this quick so I'm not thinking its that but has anybody else had spotting after stopping bcp?

it could be "withdrawal" bleeding, but some women do get pregnant straight away. Hope it turns out how ya want, good luck!

It sounds like your body is adjusting from receiving the pills to functioning naturally. However, treat your body as if you are pregnant just to be safe.

Ive had within drawal bleeding before and it has never lasted more than a few hour after I think it is just my body trying to go back to normal since I was on some kind of bc for so many years but just to be safe I am going to treat my body like I am pregnant
