Hi Ladies,
I haven't been on here in a while with life getting hectic but I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions for eliminating anxiety when getting ready for a c-section?
My first section was an emergency and I had hoped for a VBAC but my Bean is not cooperative for such a thing. He is floating high and they estimate a BIG boy! So...it's another c-section for me but the anxiety is just building by the hour and I still have 27 hours to go!!!!! AAAAAHHHHHH.....
I know it is illogical because c-sections are done all the time, but I keep thinking about what COULD go wrong and all the unknowns...worrying about the baby, etc. My baby seems perfect from multiple ultrasounds, but because of some concerns for genetic abnormalities based on a strong family history on Dad's side they are going to have a NICU team in the OR to be prepared just in case and I am just a mess.
Any suggestions to help calm down? I know this experience likely will be nothing similar to the first but....oh my....
