Having twinges, need advice please?....

Hi. Im on my first round of clomid after TTC for 4 years. Im on day 27 and i am having cramps on and off, twinges like pulling below my belly button, hot flashes, tiredness and sore nipples.

Can anyone tell me what is going on?

Well all of those can be side effects on Clomid - but it's strange that you'd get them so late in your cycle, so that means they could be a good sign. I know the pulling on the belly button is a common BFP sign. So keep your fingers crossed, let us know how you get on when you test xox

Hi Claire Yeah its deffo worse now on clomid cos i feel it is more likely to happen so symptom spot even more. Im still getting tugging in my tummy today and no period a of yet. This wait is horrible. It doesnt seem to want to show up on a pregnancy test yet so prob not my month.

Hi, I am new to this forum. I just started my first cycle of provera and clomid this month. I am on day 24 and have just started spotting - are early periods the norm on clomid? my periods have been irregular for a long time anyway but i thought the drugs were supposed to make them more like a regular cycle. any info gratefully received, i spent about five mins with my doctor when she prescribed me these tablets (after 12 months of tests) and she didn't really tell me anything about how to take them etc I am also assuming that because i have started bleeding i don't need to take the provera?? x

Hi scuttler. What day did u ovulate? Do you have any other symptoms?
Im on day 28 and am normally very irregular. I did try clomid for one month last year but had to stop due to relationship troubles but it did regulate me. I suppose it depends on ov day etc etc

hi, thanks for replying. i have started bleeding heavily now and have been up all night with cramps and diarrhea.

i don't know whether i ovulated, my consultant told me not to use ovulation kits as they were unrealiable so i am completely in the dark about it. i think the clomid must have done something because i used to always have really bad period pain every month but since i have been irregular (nearly two years now) i haven't had it as much. Now the pain is back maybe that means my body is going back to normal?!

How long have you been TTC?

I have been TTC for 4 years. Im very confued as by my BBT chart and OV tests i ovulated on day 13 which meant my AF was due 2 days ago but nothing, although i have tested for preg and got a BFN. Its driving me crazy.

I have a lot of pregnancy symptoms but no BFP yet.

I took a round of clomid at the beginning of last year and it regulated my AF for months. I normally am irregular as i have PCOS.

Hey hun. Have you tested since (probably a silly question [?]). Don't forget that some people don't get a pos HPT until about 18DPO. What brand are you using??

Hi Hun. I tested yesterday and got a BFN but havent tested today as its just depressing me. Im 16 DPO now and getting the odd crampy sensation but not constant, getting twinges still, nipples are sore (but could be period coming).

I was due on 2 days ago. This is torture!

How are you? Hows it going with your clomid?

Awww, I know how it feels to keep seeing those BFN's, especially when AF is late you do get to a point where you can't face seeing another one. Are you sure of your ov dates?

I'm still a grumpy cow since taking the Clomid Not feeling hopeful this month either if I'm honest, I'm on CD21 now and haven't had any symptoms other than a quick dizzy spell on CD5 (which could really have been for any reason). I haven't even had as much CM as other months So it seems I will be doing month three on Clomid from the way things are looking

Leave the testing for a few days hun, maybe test again on Tue/Wed if no and by then if you're still getting make an appointment to see your doctor??? xxx

Hiya. Sorry to hear u think its not ur month. Try and keep ur chin up.

Af still not hear but laid on sofa at the mo with loads of cramping and diarrhea and feel like rubbish.

Hopefully it will be our month next month. U are only about a week behind me in our cycles.
