hay anyone ordered nursery furniture off mamas and papas online?

I placed an order for a nursry furniture set off mamas and papas website and 4 hours later still didnt have confirmation

so i rang them up to be told it can take 24 hours and coz its weekend its not likely to be confirmed til monday and if my set goes out of stock before then i wont get it

has anyone ordered furniture off there? how long did it take for you to get confirmation?

I've ordered in store and online and I've never had any problems! I can't remember how long it took for the email confirmation but I think it was more or less instant? I'd be so angry as if your ordered it today (normal working day!) you shouldn't not get confirmation! They're shops are open for orders aren't they so there's no difference surely!

they said they are waiting to hear back from the bank to make sure the payment can be processed. but i booked a scan with a scan company today and got an order confirmation for that!?!

I used a debit card for the scan and a credit card for the furniture do you think this could have made a difference?

only reason i used a credit card is because we dont have the money for the set for another 3 weeks and i didnt wanna miss out on it - ive never used one before so have no idea how the order process works

I ordered on a sunday evening and got confirmation at 10.30 on Monday morning - I thought that was very strange too. It shouldn't make any difference that you used a credit card, I always use credit cards and this is the first time I haven't had confirmation immediately x

I ordered online. Can't remember how long took to get confirmation but I do remember waiting for email from them they said they'd send to say when cot had been dispatched - never got one and cot just arrived (albeit v quickly). Just lucky I had been in at the time! Sounds like they're not too well organised for online orders!

thanks ladies - i more so annoyed because i checked and the money has been witheld from my account so bank must have accepted the payment? which is what they said they were waiting for.

kinda feel like if money has been witheld from my account surely i should get confirmation?

I also had this - cot arrived with no warning. However, it was nearly a week later than estimated time!
