I just had my HCG and progesterone done and my hcg seems a little high although im not moaning. I had a feeling it was twins from when i found out i was pregnant.

What were your twins HCG like??

4w6d hcg was 18,762; can't recall progesterone. One baby. From all the years on here, it seems that you can't tell twins or not from hcg. The level varies so much and is really not indicative of how many. Good luck!!

It was more about doubling for me. Jan baby was always 2-3 weeks ahead by hcg levels but took more than 48 hours even early in to double. That was a singleton.

This last pregnancy I doubled every 27 hours then every 33 hours. Way ahead of the 48 and 78 hours expected for those levels. I was at 60kmiu at 6w2 or 3days. I felt O pains from both sides and ended up with vanishing twin. I know Jan was not vanishing twin as I had early scans done.

If you use the search feature or go into bfp announcements my thread lucky 7 had my three hcg draws from my vanishing twin pregnancy

Normal levels for a singleton pregnancy.
3 weeks LMP: 5 – 50 mIU/ml.
4 weeks LMP: 5 – 426 mIU/ml.
5 weeks LMP: 18 – 7,340 mIU/ml.
6 weeks LMP: 1,080 – 56,500 mIU/ml.
7 – 8 weeks LMP: 7, 650 – 229,000 mIU/ml.
9 – 12 weeks LMP: 25,700 – 288,000 mIU/ml.
13 – 16 weeks LMP: 13,300 – 254,000 mIU/ml.

I wouldn't ever base how many on hcg levels as it doesn't work like that xx

Mines a singleton preg and at 5 weeks 1 day it was 8500

my numbers were very similar to my singleton. We didn't know it was twins until my first ultrasound. All pregnancies are different, even one baby can have high numbers and twins can run low.
