HCG Shot and OPKs question

I took my first HCG shot on Saturday. I took a an ovulation test on Saturday and it was positive. I have taken an ovulation test everyday since then and had a positive test every day. Does anyone know if the HCG shot would have an effect on the ovulation test to be positive for 6 days in a row? usually it is only 2 days.

I know the HCG shot is supposed to help me ovulate, but I don't understand why it would be positive for 6 days. Any thoughts?
