HCG went up, but Progesterone went down a little, any success stories?

I got my labs back today. My Hcg has went up to 907 from 94 over four days, but my progesterone went down from 18 to 14.7. My doctor wasn't worried, he said they can fluctuate, but I am still worrying. Anyone had similar results?

The same thing happened to me. My progesterone went from 28 at 4w to 23 at 5w but my hcg is at 2299. My doctor told me not to worry at all and that progesterone fluctuates hour by hour and anything down to the calibration of the machine that day can make a slight difference. Eating, fasting, medication, sleep, exercise etc. can all cause it to fluctuate. Its still in the normal range so I am gonna wait till my scan on the 28th and if it decreases any more I will ask to supplement.

Thank you. I am hoping that is what it is. I am only 4+4/5, so the last test was done at 4+3/4. I just really freaks me out after having a miscarriage at 10 weeks with my last. I have been feeling super positive with this pregnancy and the lowered number really put a damper on it.

I certainly understand you worry though. Did you feel any different with your mc?

I did feel differently last time. I even told my husband I thought something was wrong.

And how are you feeling so far for now?
Please try and don't stress too much about numbers. Just make sure you rest a lot and take good care of your self. If the lil bean is healthy, it'll grow big and strong for you

I know its hard not to worry.
I can't wait to go get a private scan done at 8 weeks to see the heartbeat (I'm a worry bum myself)
